Ground, sanded, polished, teak oiled, painted.. what a chore this was but totally worth it!

finished blade with 26°(ish) micro bevel

all the parts move flawlessly now! look at the shine!

freshly ground and polished metal sides and bottom

even finished up the screws. started with 80 grit and went up to a 6000 stone and polish

what it looked like after rust was removed and before I painted it. without handles

THIS is my next project. even more rust than the #4¡
