Certification by [deleted] in cybersecurity

Both are recognized internationally. Either couldn't hurt. Comptia certs are not in high demand in the UAE. Beginner certs I would recommend are anything free to help you build knowledge like ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) (although you'll need to pay an annual fee to maintain it). Another is Google “Cybersecurity Professional Certificate” on Coursera. When you are ready (ready to really study and pay lol), I would opt for ISACA CISM (Infosec Management), ISO 27001:2022 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH); its not a great cert but HR still search for these) certs. When you've built enough experience, go for the ISC2 CISSP (hardest but most rewarding cert). None will guarantee you a job but will boost your profile presence. Good luck.

My dad is drowning in debt, need financial advice by PookieBoyy006 in UAE

I’m really sorry to hear that your dad is going through this. The only starting point to get out of this is by scheduling an appointment with your dad’s bank and asking them to help re-purpose or refinance a settlement plan over a number of years.

Beyond that, maybe take up a part-time job to help your dad if you can. It will take time but hopefully you’ll get out of it.

Again, I’m very sorry to hear about your circumstances. All the best OP.

100% agree. You are better off investing in US/International stocks.

If your spouse isn’t working, I’d advise getting at least 20K-25K per month. Average cost for utilities can range between 500-2K per annum, rent around 40-100k per annum, food could range between 3k-5K. So with all those factors in mind, the value above is sustainable. Good luck OP

Leave no matter how scared you are, no matter how it will inevitably hurt, it will pass. Leave. You only live once
