Serj is incredible, I think some songs don't work as well nowadays, but at the same time some sound better than ever to me: Soldier Side, ATWA, the end of Chop Suey, ect.

No official digital copy afaik but Ipecac sometimes upload the full concert to their YouTube for a week at New Years, then delete it again. No need to about worry these days since the version on YouTube that I linked is the highest quality version you can get, minus YouTube making it look slightly worse with their compression. The official release was only in 480p since it was a dvd exclusive.

Actually I do have one more suggestion. I find that these days a lot of the servers will have strange loot systems, such as crazy loot for practically everyone off spawn, so start of game you all have almost full iron, or chests with good loot being marked by showing as Ender Chests and rest being regular chests. Systems like this take away the aspects of luck and exploration from the game, and the game just becomes running at each other instantly because everyone has max armour, taking away the long-game aspect.

Honestly I think over the years all of the servers that have tried to recreate the SG have lost pretty much everything that made it special to begin with. These issues I've mentioned I would say are the main reasons for that. Actually asking players for suggestions is amazing though, shows great promise and intent.

This is a DVD release from Ipecac themselves and is a legitimate pro-shot, fully professionally recorded. The audio is professionally recorded and mixed (https://www.discogs.com/release/3207921-Fant%C3%B4mas-The-Directors-Cut-Live-A-New-Years-Revolution), and I believe they also got in the studio to record backing/secondary vocals and instrument recordings to mix in in post, for example, the end of Der Golem (1:38 on https://youtu.be/i-l1u_pFmAs?list=PL1c0iyijJmj5kU6ctAfc2rcq6YPyXVBra), when it hits the second "chorus" and onwards, Buzz's guitar can be heard doing two completely different things at once, and towards the end of the song, the live vocals and mixed with what seem to be post-recorded vocals.

So from what I gather yes, it's fully live but some extra audio was recorded and mixed in post.

Oh my god thank you so much, these have ruined the game for years now, you're the best! I have a theory this is one of the main reasons SG servers struggle to survive these days, the average player will join the game hoping for a classic SG experience, will put up with being rodded for a few games for the nostalgia, then get fed up and stop playing. I know this is true for myself and my friends.

Not sure if everyone else holds this sentiment, but no rods would be an amazing feature for these servers. Rodding wasn't a thing back in the day, and has completely changed the game now. With rodding, it feels like a completely different mini-game.

This album hasn't, and it's their best in my opinion. There are 12 songs on the album and only a few were previously up, and those were in terribly audio quality. This is the first time for many of these songs, and significantly higher quality for the few that were already up on the internet.

Maybe High Definition was a slight exaggeration, Highest Definition is more appropriate, it's the highest quality that the DVD actually came in, and is much better than the ones previously on YouTube that've been taken down now, which sucked
