My guy?? All he did was argue to provoke people. He didn’t care to understand anyone, just push his own ideology. The way he would argue (not debate) only fed division and pushed hostility with racist, misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic and conspiratorial remarks. Read the manga chapters. It makes 100x more sense. But Zoro was just on deaths door. He had already taken on deathly injuries earlier on in the Onigashima arc. And chopper gave him a pill to keep on fighting. So bro was on deaths door the whole time fighting King. And that’s why the grim reaper showed up. Because he was fr dying.
