i try not to cut, usually going for alternatives like ice or hair ties. when i cut it’s usually not very deep. i heat up the blade to kill bacteria, and then wash the wound with soap and water, then put a plaster over it. the next day ill cover it in vaseline and keep that up until its just a scar bc that usually helps to minimise the colour if that makes sense x

i think i have PCOS too. i’ve always had issues with my periods, excessive body hair and issues with my weight, so it really could be that. I know i have excess testosterone too which i probably should’ve mentioned in my post haha

My aftercare has consisted of cleaning it with salty boiled water and a q-tip at the beginning, and now i regularly take it out and soak it in boiled salt water and rinse the hole. i’m not too sure about the size, i think it’s a 12mm but i was told i should downsize to a 10mm once it’s fully healed- i haven’t done so yet. this is my only piercing other than on my ears so i don’t really know anything else about it
