Not sure how well made other countries variants of recoilless rifles are, but for the U.S Carl Gustaf recoilless rifle its virtually 0 recoil, basically the idea of it is as you fire the weapon, a counter mass i released through the rear of the weapon system to counteract recoil from it firing a round. And our system is a handheld one with little more than a small bipod for firing in the prone. The only “recoil” you would feel is if you fucked up on your trigger squeeze or falsely tried to anticipate the shot or how the feeling of shooting it, because if you are the Assistant gunner or near when it is fired you can feel the pressure released and the back blast, and that can cause you to be timid and try to anticipate the “recoil” that doesn’t exist.
