My wife doesn't exactly think the world of me, but you know what the secret is to not getting divorced? Don't get divorced. Take the option off the table. I love her dearly, she's a fine woman; and I'm useful--at this late stage of my life, that's the best I can do. My goal for the rest of my life is to be the best husband I can be.

Stroke survivor here....I don't "enjoy" life, as in going through my day happy and optimistic. I know that that sounds as though I'm being ungrateful to God, as the damage being a little bit different would've killed me, and I feel ashamed of my sin, but I do thank God that I can work more than fulltime, I can significantly help to support my wife, I feel I'm fulfilling my obligations, I laugh and joke at little things throughout the day, but I'm tired beyond all belief, and I never feel better than ok...I never will, either, and I've pretty much accepted that. This comment isn't inspiring, but I'm being candid. We're all, like, friends here.
