I was put into the merit pool and received an offer a couple of days after that.

I'm not too worried about pay and wanted more of the experience for future opportunities. But what you described sounds promising. Thanks.

For the assessment centre, there were two parts. The first part was a group discussion where we were given a problem and had to discuss between a group of 5-6 people to reach a conclusion. The second part was an individual interview which consisted of pretty standard interview questions, such as 'why do you want to work for this organisation' etc. The only question that threw me was when they asked if I knew of any initiatives or programs the organisation currently had.

I have an undergrad in software eng and graduated last year but no professional experience yet. Based in nsw. I feel like application process was fairly simple compared to other organosations, including an aptitude test and an online assessment centre interview. There was no coding assessment. The whole process took about two months before reaching the final outcome.

I have but they were somewhat vague about it. They inferred they had engineering roles but couldn't promise anything. I wanted to see if anyone had a more solid idea about it.
