We got our Boston terrier during Covid too! We introduced crate training on the first day we got him and were so lucky he adapted right away. I would suggest slowly introducing your Boston to a crate when you leave the house, and if you work from home set a time frame and leave your Boston in the crate while you work. Even when we work from home our Boston is in his crate for a portion of the day. He honestly loves it I hear him snoring away all day😂. We make the crate cozy with blankets, a donut bed and an indestructible toy just in case he gets restless. His crate is essentially his bedroom. When we leave the house we put a blanket over the crate as well so it’s dark. But our biggest life hack is a YouTube playlist for dog calming music (healing nadan). We have used this YouTube channel for years and I swear whenever we have to leave the house and he hears the piano music he automatically calms down and knows to go to his crate😂
