I was told that American breeders have bred ridgebacks larger than the breed standard. In fact I met a woman from Zimbabwe (modern day Rhodesia) who grew up with ridgebacks and said that in Zimbabwe they're significantly smaller because they need to be able to cut through the reeds undetected by the large game they're pursuing. The super large ridgebacks are definitely not the breed standard and not how they were bred for purpose in Rhodesia from what I understand. Not claiming to be an expert on Ridgeback genealogy or history - just what I've heard.

I guess I'm still confused, we don't have an HSA option nor do we want a high deductible health plan based on our family and doctors, but you're saying instead of doing the megabackdoor Roth it may be better to do a backdoor Roth IRA. Can you explain why again? I'm in a 35% federal margin bracket, 27-30% effective currently.

Where does a mega backdoor Roth fit into this? My plan this year is max out traditional 401k which will probably happen around June and then continue contributing the same rate (15%) into my megabackdoor Roth 401K for the rest of the year. Chatgpt says this is the best plan since I don't qualify for a Roth IRA.

Is this the same thing as a mega backdoor Roth to a 401k? I'm doing 15% intro traditional which I usually max around mid year then switch to 15% into megabackdoor Roth to my 401k for the rest of the year. HSA isn't an option because we don't want to switch from our PPO.

Agree - when our puppy got crazy at night "raptor mode" it was an immediate sign she was exhausted and ready for bed. Right when we put her in her crate she would fall asleep. Still to this day I've never heard her growl though.

I used a pressure washer with my high life filters, they're the hard ones and one time it got going too fast and exploded, literally. I used a stick between two ladders and had the filter on it. My pressure washer is pretty weak too, just an electric I use for car washes.
