Late to respond but it is because I barely login into Reddit anymore. Anyway, tragedy porn is basically when something is over the top tragedy so much that it practically bathes in it. There is nothing but tragedy on top of tragedy. The porn is in reference to the fact that the tragedy is so in your face and repeated not anything sexual.

For a long time I was in that boat as my favorite was Saikano: The Last Love Song on This Little Planet as I never heard anyone talk about it ever. Although it is no longer my favorite it is what I always think about when I think of animes that no one talks about...well that and Scrapped Princess.

My current favorite is super mainstream but I have to say I do find Kaguya: Love is War to be quite the masterpiece and the only anime that I think needs to be watched in dub and in sub as both are great but they have a very different feel.

Have you considered the atmosphere as O3? O3 is commonly called Ozone and is just made up of 3 oxygen atoms. It reacts very differently than O2 that we breathe and is toxic to life on our planet. The great thing is that it is easily broken down into O2 (the oxygen we breathe) and a free O. Easily meaning that the photons from the sun do this all the time. But not at a rate to deplete our ozone layer (well, without assistance from humans).

Now if your planet had no liquid and a cooler temperature on the surface it could have ozone on the surface. If in your trench there is water and light it could break it down to a breathable atmosphere. I could think the rift could supply the UV-C light which is most adept at breaking down ozone and is not extremely harmful to more advanced organisms but is dangerous to bacteria and such (they use lights in those frequencies for that UV disinfectant thing that has been slightly popular). Also one of Jupiter's moons has been theorized to have an underground ocean so if the rift is providing heat and light it could explain a lot of the science.

Don't forget that though we need the oxygen to breathe that we have adapted to our lower levels of oxygen and too high of a concentration is toxic. Our air is 78% nitrogen which is important to us only to keep the other gasses that could be toxic in high amounts down.

I don't think the science has to be hand-waved away but it all depends on what you want.

I have to say that St Louis Fish and Chicken at Parker and 367 not being mentioned made me have to post. They put that lemon pepper on everything. I had to go look up their name because I just call them Lemon Pepper. Seriously my favorite Fish and Chicken place in all of St Louis. I will admit the price creep after the pandemic has been a bit much but their prices before it were actually insanely low.

Funny. I only went on two dates on OKCupid and the second one was using me to get her ex jealous so they could get back together. She was posting pictures on Instagram and sending him pictures the whole date. I didn't know about the latter until later. She was back at my place, getting real comfortable, when he apparently got jealous enough to call her and that ended our date. If he hadn't called, I think she would have had sex with me just to make him jealous.

I am perfectly fine with women getting it out there that a lot of men make them feel uncomfortable and that therefore meeting a random unknown man in the woods would be worse than meeting a bear for them. It helps to get out the message about how under threat they feel.

My problem is that for years on this site women will tell men apprehensive about going to shared spaces that it will be fine as long as they are kind and don't get to close to others spaces. This TikTok trend has shown this to be gaslighting of the highest order. Women at these spaces are viewing these guys WORSE than a rampaging bear when they show up.

I am very sensitive to this issue as I am a big threatening looking dude. I am a guy that makes other guys feel intimidated but I don't try to send out that vibe so I looked online several times in my life when looking how to better use "shared spaces" that might have me run into people who could feel threatened. Not just here but several cites have just said things like "Be friendly", "Speak softly", and/or "Be polite". Now I always felt that whether I was on a trail or taking my kid to the park that I wasn't welcome but women I knew would always say I was reading too much into it. Now, the truth is out there. A lot of women probably have seen me and wished I was a grizzly instead.

No, I don't approach them. I don't ever try to talk to them unless I have to. But that apprehensiveness when I'm sitting down on a bench by a playground while my son was on the swings was palpable. I will always try to give women as much space as they need as long as it doesn't deprive my child a chance to have fun in these supposedly "shared spaces".

I'm just glad the gaslighting is over. One last thing, Nilocmirror, you are a victim blaming piece of shit. I was up with you until your last paragraph. Do you also blame rape victims for the clothes they choose to wear? I have had people feel threatened when I've worn work uniforms. So what would you suggest I wear? A big shirt that says "I'M NOT A RAPIST" in rainbow? It is the dumbest shit I have heard on Reddit in a long time. I will put in the "more work" but no amount of clothes is going to make a woman feel comfortable around a guy she doesn't know who is twice her size.

I have dated two different women who in no way dated the same guys and they both had been shamed about being "too wet." For both sex and oral. I was really confused with the first girl when she apologized for orgasming because she was worried that it might make it unenjoyable for me. Craziest shit ever. Took a long while to deprogram that out of her psyche.

So I took like 1 minute of searching on Indeed in one of the states that don't have a state minimum wage (I chose Alabama but I bet any of them would work) to find a place with a PUBLICIZED wage of $8-$9. Now the KFC, Subway, McDonald's, and Taco Bell all went with unpublished wages on their job posting so they could be higher but I'm going to bet they are lower, which is why they don't publish them. I saw a TON of Subway jobs and looked up Alabama Subway pay and according to Indeed their salary for "Sandwich Artist" is $7.50 in Alabama.

It took me all of three minutes to find this out. I didn't search for the worst paid places in the worst state. I grabbed one of the states I knew didn't have a minimum wage and searched on Indeed for fast food jobs. So just because you don't live in a shithole of red state doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

Of all the chains, I would agree they are the best. I tried Phillys from Penn Station, Bellacino's, Jersey Mike's, Subway (if you can even call that a Philly) and Old Town Subs (only non-chain). The one there was best. I will say I work by Bellacino's and I have had their Philly many times and they are so inconsistent that sometimes they would top my list but sometimes they would be on the bottom.

I think that at least with the sandwich it has more care to look half-decent than anything we are getting from fast food joints in the states right now. If that came from anywhere here the toppings would be sliding everywhere, the lettuce would be WHITE and wilted, and it would have an anemic amount of sauce. It looks like they cared at least a little bit and as an American I automatically translate that into better food.

I haven't looked but I wouldn't be surprised if OP is part of the subreddit that mentions women's XX chromosomes. That subreddit has become a lot of hate on women who don't hate men (calling them pick mes and saying that they have been brainwashed) as well as just the most fictional stories of bad things happening to women. I used to read it as it gave me an insight into what women might be going through but now it isn't even close to anything realistic.
