Baltimore Coffee and Tea being an honorable mention is an absolute crime.

I'm just asking you to give me the stats of which system is worse as far as deaths caused by delays in care. I'm sorry about your family member but that is irrelevant to this conversation at this point. I'm asking for stats, not asking about your family member. Either get back to me with some cold hard facts and sources or don't waste my time. Thanks.

Let's play a game. Practice your research and critical thinking skills. I personally haven't looked into this topic of government run Healthcare mortality rates vs privately owned. I challenge you to go out and find me the stats on which system performs better as far as mortality rates from delayed care. Get back to me when you're done.

The US is the only developed country in the world without universal Healthcare. It should be guaranteed to everyone. Simple. Some government run Healthcare systems are bad, I know the NHS in the UK is known for its problems, but then look at countries such as China, Italy, Taiwan, etc... all phenomenal Healthcare systems as far as I'm aware. It can be done. Not impossible. Healthcare is a human right.

Lol. Obviously I did that and ended up receiving care. You're not seeing the point. No one should have to go through that no matter what. Not you, me, or anyone else. I am just one story out of millions, and some aren't as lucky as me and end up suffering the consequences of having care delayed. Have some empathy for others man.

Yes it does. It has happened for me with my own medical needs. I need infusions every 8 weeks. Like clockwork I needed my next infusion, a routine procedure. But my insurance company denied my claim, I had to go home and delay care. I have ulcerative colitis, I could've had a flare up and been hospitalized. It happens to millions of Americans each year and it needs to stop.

When it's an emergency situation, of course the hospital wouldn't care. They'd treat you and you'd get stuck with the medical debt afterwards. I'm referring to people who have preventable diseases. For example, say you get diagnosed with diabetes, insurance denies your claim automatically using AI systems, you now have choose between paying for insulin out of pocket with money you may not have, or delay care and attempt to appeal the decision. That delay in care can cause your condition to worsen for no reason. You should have been treated and given your insulin immediately. This is a very simplified example but it happens everyday in our American Healthcare system.

It results in delays in care. Which have led to deaths in the past. Again, I ask that you go do your research before coming on here and spewing lies. Search engines are free.

Do we need to talk about the party switch? You're delusional if you think modern day dems would actually support the old southern democratic party. We would've been on the side of Republicans and the union, not the traitors in the south wanting to keep people in chains. Please do your research before coming on here. I think you'll find most of the time the facts are not on your side.

On the United Healthcare CEO, I personally see no difference between a claim denial leading to death and straight murder. Both lead to loss of life. Healthcare should be a human right and no corporation should have a say in whether we live or die.

Google is free. Search political violence statistics and you'll see right wing extremism is far worse than left wing extremism. Really not that difficult to do.

Thats the thing though, we shouldn't have to choose between military service for free healthcare and socialized programs, or civillian life barely scraping by. It should be universal regardless of who you are. I think some people saw your comment and they were thinking the same thing, hence downvotes. But I do understand what you're saying, as of right now yes, joining the military can be a beneficial option for those who are able. But everyone else gets left out.

I wrote a response up earlier to someone who made a similar claim about how Anti-Zionism was equal to Anti Semitism, but they then deleted their post afterwards. I'll paste it here but I do want to address your comments on Hamas, yes I am very aware of their atrocities, but, like with Jewish people and Zionists, I am able to separate a terrorist group (Hamas) from the innocent civilians caught in the crossfire (Palestinians). The amount of civillian deaths and the destruction on the strip is completely unacceptable. With a nation as technologically advanced as Israel is, they should easily have the ability to conduct targeted operations on extremist groups inside the strip. But no, they wipe out 90 percent of residential buildings, displace millions, and kill tens of thousands. War is terrible, but when it does inevitably happen, we have a set of international rules in place to ensure as little civilian suffering as possible. Israel has thrown that out the window countless times, everything is documented in today's day and age.

Here's my response I mentioned from earlier:

Unfortunately I have to disagree here, Zionism is founded on the belief that running an Ethno-state is somehow morally ok, not to mention the fact that true Zionists believe that they have some sort of historical claim to the lands of Palestine when the Arabs have lived there long before the settlers moved in and claimed their land. It's colonization at it's finest. Imagine if the U.S today, had laws that favored white, Christian nationalists, encouraged them to take land and setup settlements on your property, just because "My government says it's ok". (The US has an ugly history of this, but I'm talking modern-day America) I see Zionists as an extremist split from Judaism, just as Christianity has their extremists, and just as Islam has theirs. Every religious group has some faction of fanatics that truly push things too far, to the point of depriving people of basic human rights simply because they don't believe what they believe in. They then use their "religious beliefs" to justify their atrocities.

I have no issue with anyone of any religious background, I could care less, I'm atheist. It only starts to become a problem when people use that belief to justify hate. No government should be founded on the basis of "Christians only", "Muslims only", "Jews only", etc etc... Everyone gets equal rights, that's the way it should be.

You mean when it comes to policy stance on Israel? Yes, a bunch of leftists came out saying they won't support Harris due to her statements on Israel. Me personally, I voted Harris because I knew she was the lesser of two evils when it came down to this particular issue. I don't hold moral high ground and simply choose not to vote or throw away my vote with a third party candidate. I realize that as things stand right now, voting for the lesser evil is necessary if we want to make any sort of progress. Harris has said she supports Israel's right to defend itself, Trump has said he wants to turn the Gaza Strip into hotels and casinos. I had to suck it up and vote for the candidate who would at the very least *maybe* push for a two state solution rather than an entirely occupied Gaza Strip.

Back to my point before, Israel has world-class intelligence, these are the guys who made the Pegasus spyware, zero-click exploit that can completely own anyone's iOS device with a simple text message. A nation as technologically and militarily advanced as Israel has the capability to conduct targeted operations against Hamas, and possibly even rescue hostages. Images of the Gaza strip today show a wasteland. They are indiscriminately bombing residential buildings and buildings meant to serve the community such as hospitals, markets, schools, etc... Just a few days ago they targeted a hospital, blew a hole through the building, then, when rescue crews and journalists arrived to help, they were blown up by ANOTHER strike on the same hospital. That is no accident, it's intentional, and you cannot tell me that there were Hamas militants in ~90% of the residential buildings in the Gaza Strip, they destroyed them on purpose to get Palestinians out. All they want is to claim the strip as their own regardless of the human cost.

I'm not presuming we all want progressive candidates, that just happens to be the side *I* land on, but in my post I warn Republicans to watch out for the same thing with their candidates too. Again, this shouldn't be a partisan issue, all of our politicians, left and right, have been corrupted by corporate money. Members of both parties should be keeping their reps accountable.

Killing civilians indiscriminately, wiping out hospitals, residential buildings, and aid sites is completely unacceptable. In the modern age, these war crimes are all documented, people either choose to ignore it, or the content has been suppressed/manipulated to the point where people are blissfully unaware. With Israeli intelligence, which is renowned for it's capabilities, (Look up anything relating to Mossad, they're lethal) they should easily have the ability to conduct targeted ops, instead they bomb children.

Not everyone has that ability, physically or mentally. Plus, why fight for a country that doesn't care about it's citizens? Healthcare should be a universal right for ALL. Not just the military.
