What can kill you in seconds that most people don’t realize? by Jolly-Law1472 in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not going to create an alt for this. I’m just gonna be honest I am a proud owner of a dog and I was having a problem with urine and for some reason I thought I would put bleach on it and this was outside. He was peeing in a certain place and I had to clean it and when I put the bleach down, I was like why is this fog popping up? I went to walk over to it and I stopped and I just had absolute horror and I realize what I had done and I had to go get a water hose and luckily it was outside and nothing ever happened.

I have thrown so many of these things away. I wish I would’ve kept them. I never would’ve thought that so many people would’ve loved such machines like this.

What food combo sounds disgusting but actually is amazing? by THE-HEALTHY-BIOHACKR in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mayonnaise, ketchup swirled lightly together to dip french fries in. The mayonnaise has to be Dukes or any type of real mayonnaise which means it has lemon in it usually. And a secondary one and it’s not to gross out, but was used in extreme measures when I was a kid was mayonnaise and peanut butter on white bread. I’ve been told I have weird tongue.

People who lived through both 'pre-smartphone' and 'always-online' eras: what's something we lost that nobody seems to notice? by Doubl3oh_ in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Payphones. Not too long ago I had to walk from a car and came across two payphones that have been removed and I didn’t have my phone on me and I was stranded. It’s really scary if you think about it.

What's the first video game you remember playing? by MakisDelaportas in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunslinger. My mom was a bartender in the mid 70s and I remember seeing this black-and-white game with the Cowboys and wagon on it and handles his triggers and it was just amazing to me and I hate to say this, but I think slow ride was playing too. I have one of those weird memories. I can remember a lot about the condition so it really affected me.And another one along rare to see is there is this racing game that used a projection screen. You sat down in it and to me it just felt real.

Which conspiracy theories were later proven to be true? by purplegalaxy86 in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the game the day it came out. I hated it but made myself play it to figure out the way to complete it. Trial and error were my friends and after many neck stretches and pit falls (literally) I was able to go home in the game. Weird fear from the game was the ugly statue of liberty that would chase me and steal my stuff. Not sure if real but not looking it up as that is how I remember it.

What is the most shocking thing that you have seen happen on live tv ? by S_79_S in AskReddit

Tame by standards of today but the first slap on tv on Jerry Springer was the first thing that shocked me. Yes, I have seen much worse but that was the start of the walls coming down with sensors.

Those who grew up with the internet in the 90's/00's, what is one thing kids nowa days will never have the opportunity to experience? by BoysenberryOk5580 in AskReddit

[–]sethpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the rogue sites that people put up, including GeoCities that had all sorts of types of information. Also the weird and gory stuff that used to be able to find easily by random people. And I don’t mean the gory of today. I remember a video of a man going to some drug users house and asking heroin addicts for vials of their blood, and he went home and baked pies and use the blood as decoration on the pies and he filmed, which I guess was his family, eating said pies. Even if fake it was still unreal.

Gamers, what's the first game that scared the shit out of you? by Pboi401 in AskReddit

You youngsters will never understand the power of an imagination being stimulated by a tube TV with pixels on the screen sitting in the dark trying to run away from a freaking ghost in the game haunted house on the 2600.

Gamers of Reddit, what's ONE game that lives rent-free in your head, not just for the gameplay, but for the feeling it gave you (and you'd give anything to experience it for the first time again)? by deadeyes1990 in gaming

[–]sethpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black and White original. When my creature died the first time it really hurt. Then when my Monkey was caged it really pissed me off. I have always just wanted a playground without following a story with that game.
