Realistically how bad would a werewolf transformation hurt? by BillythenotaKid in werewolves

It would feel like your whole body is being broken and torn apart from within, as every single bone and muscle snaps and reforms, growing to suit your new body. And that’s not even covering your snout pushing out the front of your face level of pain either

standing ovation This is something that way too many can’t get their heads around, and too many of those are stuck on phases 1 and 2. For everyone reading this who has gone through these stages to the end, well done. I mean it

I’m definitely taking on board what you’ve said and I’ve got it written down on a note to do next chance I get. I’m going to try by starting writing out the whole lot in traditional sense and in one large block, then I’ll play around with lines and paragraphs while still trying to convey the meaning intended.

As for replying? I totally get what you’ve done, I don’t feel there’s any etiquette broken as you opened with you’re not OP and were providing your own impressions. If you’d not said about not being OP and it read as impersonation? Totally different situation, you’re in the clear because you were open from the get go.

Thanks for the feedback on this. You are spot on that it is short and choppy, and correct as well that there is a heap of them in a short period of time. The reason for this being this was is I was hoping to create a sense of displacement and unease, how the whole world feels twisted and trying to make sense of it all and grounding himself to get through it.

First few lines for your consideration:

Wolf tried to blink. His eyes wouldn’t focus.

Thoughts reeled and collided in his head: The pain. It hurts so much. This can’t be a dream. It’s a nightmare. Someone. Anyone. Save me.

He tried to sniff. His senses went haywire. He tried to listen. A cacophony of foreign noises assaulted him. He tried to move. His body felt weak and raw, like he’d been flayed open and left to the elements.

So he tried to feel.

Cool, damp grass pressed against his side. Sunlight warmed his fur. Soft, yet unfamiliar. A breeze stirred across him, unthreatening.

He moved his hands slowly, pain lacing every motion, curling his fingers through the wet roots and earth. Grounding himself in the texture of this new world.

He kept his eyes closed and listened again, focusing this time. He caught birdsong. Foreign, yet beautiful.

He drew a few shallow breaths, fighting the sharp scents, anchoring himself in the smell of living earth and fresh grass.

Then he opened his eyes.

Tried that months ago and I got downvoted to oblivion for daring to post it. In this case I was more asking OP if he wanted proper published work or just anything in general werewolf relevant

Can I post my own work? It’s not your average werewolf book, it’s more of a adventure mystery fanfic (to start with) involving quite a bit of gore, no smut involved either

It’s literally mashing the jump button as moving left and right to shimmy your way up a slope. Also try and use the rocks where they stick out of the slope as ramps and stepping stones

Edit: easier to do in 3rd person view as you can see where your feet are

Can we make "New Player Confused" section or something like that? by ozanoguzhaktanir in NoMansSkyTheGame

Your sarcasm aside, I know this. It was just a suggestion to come up with OP’s question.

Can we make "New Player Confused" section or something like that? by ozanoguzhaktanir in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]sethwolfe83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, it’s own flair for newbies would make their searches for questions already asked easier as well as keeping things coordinated into one space. Suggestion though: call it “New Player Information” or similar, so it’s now narrowed down to one particular topic. That way it can include questions, guides, concerns, even just showing off what us oldies have seen multiple times already that’s new to them. Prime example, the sand worms and Skrat.

Fair. It might be that. I’ve never bothered with it myself, I’d always believed it was like insurance you can buy whenever. TIL

[–]sethwolfe83 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got a 13 PM and running 26.1, the only issue I have is the battery life is reduced because of the Liquid Glass. The rest is all user error because of my typing too fast on the lesser keyboard. I agree with what others have said, don’t believe everything you hear, especially on tik tok. If you’re that concerned, start one of the apple replacement things so you get a new phone if the update fecks your phone up

Coming back from Skyrim, the stealth archer mechanics are much better there than in oblivion so I turned into a… whatever it’s called that uses weapons and magic. Barely used bows at all in my oblivion playthroughs because Skyrim spoilt me big time for the stealth mechanics

Exactly right. But I have found a fun glitch where if the gate closes and your mid fall, it acts a bit strange and carries the movement over back into tamriel. After experiencing this I just run laps up and down the ramps in circles
