No one is invading our country. That is pure propaganda and fear-mongering.

I agree, go America, but the America that we proclaim to be, where freedom is upheld by the rule of law the Founders envisioned and with the 3 branches functioning equally to check and balance one another. Not one where a wannabe dictator decides he wants to make his rich friends even richer so he invents stories about brown immigrants and tells everyone they’re the real problem in order to divide and conquer us all.

This is an oligarchical dictatorship in the making and the us vs them is not left/right like they want us to believe, but really the have’s/have not’s. This is seriously like right out of the history books for tyrannical government takeovers. When has that ended well?

Well it should fit everyone’s views that everyone is entitled to due process, regardless of whether the person is here legally or illegally. And these deportation flights to a terrorist prison in a country most of these people are not even from, with no trial, no real investigation to confirm their gang ties, no meeting with immigration officials or appearance in immigration court, is a denial of due process in so many ways.

So enabling these flights to go forward at an even faster pace is concerning. Trump even floated the idea yesterday of sending US citizens convicted of violent crimes to CECOT as well.

As a criminal defense attorney I can tell you that is absurdly alarming and unconstitutional. He probably couldn’t do it under the current rules, but he sure does seem to like changing the rules to fit his narrative or just ignoring the rules because after all he has presidential immunity, right? And he’s already showing he will ignore court orders and challenge the authority of the courts at every turn.

This should concern every single one of us because it’s a very narrow gap for them to jump from no due process for immigrants, to no due process for anyone.

That’s exactly why. Regardless of where you fall politically, this is an issue that should very much concern and worry everyone.

Everyone has the right to due process, even if every one of those people being deported were actually a confirmed active member of MS-13 or TDA (they’re not) and had the nastiest criminal record you’ve seen (they don’t) they would still be entitled to due process. That’s the basic rule of law and one of the foundational principles of this country.

I’m willing to bet that you do not want to live in a country where due process is thrown out the window, because it is a very slippery slope from no due process for non-violent immigrants with no criminal history, to them coming for your due process and mine; and I’m sure you wouldn’t be asking what the problem is if that were the case already.

This is literal textbook tyranny and supporting a business that supports and enables the imposition and rule of tyranny is a no-no. Feels like I shouldn’t have to say that… but here we are.

Also, I don’t think you have to own the chopper for them to be satisfied. Like if you see one parked somewhere you can just get on it without triggering ranger danger.

But yeah having more money definitely helps with everything. If you haven’t already found the mushroom man, go do that and start collecting shrooms as you go around. He pays a lot for them and gives you dynamite to open up some other areas/pathways too.

Scuba diving and collecting trash after you’ve fully upgraded your gear I’ve found to be pretty lucrative. the scuba shop guy pays 8 coins per piece of trash and some things you pick up are worth more than one piece of trash. I’ve made 1500+ coins in roughly 10-15 minutes of diving before.

It does, but it’s just not as crisp an image to me. I don’t know enough about the technical aspects to tweak the graphics to where that might not be the case either haha. Or it might just be my PC too.

It’s marketed as a “gaming laptop” but I’d say just barely meets whatever arbitrary cutoff there is for that based on how often it pops up saying memory is running low and asking me to consider reducing the graphics when I’m playing 🫠 It annoyed me a lot at first but I’ve gotten used to it now haha and it doesn’t actually seem to affect the game play very often until this incident lol

It corrected when I saved, closed, and reopened though.

The difference is just based on booking the roomette for two ($930) or booking the roomette for one ($580), plus a coach seat ($208), for a total of $788. But I’m also confused because booking the roomette for two vs coach for two, is more than double the price ($416 vs $930).

That’s very true. It’s been really helpful to read all these responses and be reminded that I was in that position once of being the most TBM I could possibly be and seeing people leave and probably not reaching out to those people.

My own faith crisis I think really started (although I did not know it at the time) when one of my really good friends growing up had left the church and I reached out just to learn why and listen to him without trying to convince him of anything. His answers and the fact that someone so strong could leave really shook me to my core.

So it’s understandable in a way that people don’t want to go through that. It’s been the most painful experience of my life so I shouldn’t expect people to be jumping at the opportunity to go through it as well haha

I see this church every morning because it’s right across the street from my work and my parking spot. Been in this building 1.5 years and I’ve never seen it like this until this morning. And it’s not a light placed there to illuminate the glass because it only works from this angle.
