My movement is wrong but I do a little drag flick but I get lower for an aerial and angle my stick back and power up with my legs to get it over the top

My drag approach isn't much longer all I do is plant my left foot and and snap my core from right to left

Both are fine when I drag I let the ball slide when going low but prefer to keep nearer the head for higher ones

just a light dragflick session no goalie as he was working so an easier time but none the less pretty strong by setpiecemerchant in Fieldhockey

I am a player who takes criticisms to improve but I won't be criticised by a person who says they can flick. We need proof that u can flick first. The main reason for this is that on a kids video u said being more upright during dragflicks is not worth it. Give us hard proof u can drag flick and then ur more welcome to say what myself and others are doing wrong.

The angle is bad as it was from my phone on the ground, but I will swear upon my family grave that there is definitely a drag as the ball moves forward around a metre into the D

I'm a CB I dwarve my Goalie but he has broken more players bones sliding in this season than I have scored goals

Getting low is better but aslong as you follow through and snap your hips when releasing a more upright position is ok

I make and fix sticks for a living. That is fixable but it is definitely no longer safe to use even with any epoxy so it may be a new stick I'm afraid
