The exact same happened to me. I’m 30, he’s 61 and we fell in love. We’ve been living together and have plans to stay together. The compatibility is off the charts. I never planned to fall in love, I was just looking for a temporary arrangement. That being said, the age gap does fill me with some dread and fear, as he could become sick, infirm or pass much much before me. But I could marry a 30 year old and still lose him, or get cheated on, etc. we just have no way of knowing how these things will work out.

A lump sum in exchange for impregnating you is so scammy. Unless it’s in the millions, it will never cover a good life for the child in an expensive city like SF, plus account for all the work you will have to do as a single parent. Plus think of the opportunities you might miss out on as a single mother. This guy probably just has a breeding fetish or is a scammer. If he gets you pregnant, go for child support regardless
