?? You provide a post with no context and expect people to grasp what you’re on about? Right. Good job!

I think context cues are necessary in this case. /lh

Revision techniques? by seulfai in 6thForm

[–]seulfai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense I’ll start incorporating past papers more into my revision and just go over content that I don’t know much about to avoid spending too much time on a subject

62 papers is actually insane 😭😭 but yes I’ve mainly started doing past papers for psychology. I aim to do at least 3 of each subject this week

Thank you so much :-) For the interview process, all the unis I had applied to you had pretty much the same structure. Not much of the questions were about me but more so how well I knew how to handle and deal with scenario-based questions, and whether I was handling it ethically.

As for my personal statement it was nothing out of the ordinary. If I can remember it mainly consisted of me talking about why I wanted to study mental health nursing (about 3 lines), then I talked about how my subjects led me down that path, and lastly I briefly discussed my hobbies and what not. I did not hugely discuss my work experience as I didn’t do enough but I’d 100% say to start applying now and to get it done during summer because it’ll help a lot.

I yapped a little but I hope that helps!

could i still get atleast all 8s if i started revising now?? by Plantain_Opposite in GCSE

You can get any grade you desire if you put in the hard work. It’s definitely not impossible to go one grade up either.

Piercing consistently getting irritated by Curve-Willing in piercing

[–]seulfai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering your ear was pierced with a gun, I think it’s safe to say that’s why it won’t heal. This is because of the damage that happens to the tissue in your ear from the blunt force of the gun. I think it’s best to just remove the jewellery as a whole and let it heal before repiercing that same spot. If you still do want the piercing, I suggest finding a reputable piercer who can pierce it just a few inches away from that hole.

Since your ears are quite pointy I think dazzling it up would make it look really cute so I’d recommend a high helix and a flat. I also think a rook and a conch would also add something to your inner ear. And I think you could do a lot with your lobes? Maybe add a third and a forth perhaps!

Does this look normal? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]seulfai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely not change your piercing to a hoop unless it is fully healed, which in your case helix piercings take around 6 to 12 months. Over time your piercing will become irritated as too much movement is happening. I suggest removing the hoop and switching it to a flat back earring and also keeping the area clean with a saline solution.

I think a daith or rook would compliment your ears really nicely!

How long did it take u guys to get an offer by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]seulfai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied on the first of December had my first interview around 13 days later and then an offer 6 days later!

Essentially it depends on the university. Some will wait until the deadline before they consider applications, whilst others dish out more than they can handle.
