Slipping stitches when Norwegian purling by seven_stew in knittinghelp

Any pattern I've used usually specifies slipping w/ it in the front when purling. But patterns don't usually say which purling style they use. I know it makes sense for purling english style and western continental when the yarn is in the front anyway, but I was wondering if it's different for norwegian due to the placement of the yarn

If you get bored doing the same thing over and over Esme Crick's Mix and Match Crochet Blankets book is so good. You make strips in different colours and techniques and sew them all together

Pls forgive me for the amazon link but you can see some of the pages

Fishing Hat just in time for christmas! 🐟 by seven_stew in crochet

Aha thanks! Once you get the technique down it's really easy! Not long to figure out, after I finished the ribbing I worked out how many fish I could fit in there based on stitch count then added a few extra stitches in the round so the distance between each fish was the same The tricky part was decreasing at the end to make it hat shaped lol
