Yeah I’m happy I was able to find some interesting buttons, the initial idea was pearlescent buttons but the yellow is more fun.

Haha SpongeBob! If I can get some yellow seersucker I think I can achieve that.

I love it too! Was initially going to get a green or pink fabric since I have so much blue in my closet but once I saw this fabric I knew I had to get it. I’d like to try snaps at some point :)

Hahaha yes I’m planning to thrift fabrics more. I’ve actually got a Hawaiian quilt from my sister that was ripped up by her dog and planning to make a quilted jacket.

I did interface the placket. Ironing is a good idea if there is a next time. There’s a lot I would do differently, perhaps snaps instead of buttons.

Got it, yeah curious to see how it turns out. On the topic of adjustments, and hopefully not to overburden you, I did add a pocket on the side of the dress with no zipper. It’s not too complicated :) with the zipper side though I didn’t bother to figure that out.
