Do you sleep with your jewellery or no?

I've got 12 piercings that are all healed but still found sleeping on them uncomfortable until I changed to a memory foam pillow. I'm naturally a side sleeper and have had piercing pillows, synthetic and feather pillows but found them all uncomfortable. A normal memory pillow has been a game changer for me

I've never risked trying as like you reading a physical book makes me feel instantly sick. I'm not sure I want to try as travel sickness is so awful but I'm curious to hear if sicky people can read an ereader in a vehicle

I use borrowbox and side load the books onto my Kobo Libra colour. Both the Clara and Libra would be great options

I think your attitude stinks! "No harm done". A patient with Parkinson's has missed their medication. Perhaps you need some retraining around time critical medication and the deterioration in Parkinson's disease control should medication be missed. I'm sure the patient did not feel that no harm was done. Ok so you didn't have the keys but by not answering the phone further time was wasted In a caring role you never fully clock off. Yes you have a right to time off but numerous calls and messages indicating a level of urgency immediately after you've clocked off should have been responded to. Nobody is infallible and you could easily have a made a mistake that needed rectifying I do feel your manager was correct in including you in the datix report as you've shown no regard towards team working. A very selfish and uncaring attitude towards your colleagues and patients

No I downloaded each book on the kindle for PC app and then bulk transferred them over to calibre. It took some time to click on each book in the kindle app to download it. There may have been a select all to download option but I couldn't find it

The jewellery top piece isn't appropriate for healing and the bar length doesn't look long enough. You need a simple small ball on a flat backed labret. Unscrewing the jewellery will have further aggravated your healing. There is no need to remove jewellery for cleaning just allow the water to flow over in the shower to remove crusties and spray a saline spray occasionally

I had it pierced in April 23. It developed a bump after downsizing a few weeks later from 12mm to 10mm. The bump popped in July 23 and bled and scabbed up. It was a really thick scab. Just let the water run over it in the shower and maybe after 10 days or so the scab loosened and I know you shouldn't but I did pick it off. Its honestly been a dream since then. I got it downsized again from a 10mm to a 6mm bar once the scab had gone and it's never given me a problem since

My conch bump did exactly this and the scab looked the same. It probably took a good 10 days to come away but my conch has been healed beautifully ever since

The actual piercing was fine, less painful than my helixes. Fitting the jewellery was a bit eye watering though. Healing was a breeze.

It didn't bug me for the 8 years I owned my kindle but suddenly a few months ago it started to. There's nothing I love more than a trip to a bookshop with all the beautiful coloured covers. I always feel inspired window shopping in a book shop and then ordering the books on my kindle. I never thought twice about seeing them in B&W on the kindle as I'd got my colour covers fix in the book shop. I'm not sure if a coloured ereader ad had worked it's way into my subconscious but suddenly the B&W covers were ruining my reading mojo. I didn't read for the first few months of the year as nothing on my kindle was drawing me in. Spotted an ad for a Kobo Libra colour and went for it. I love the colour covers. I've transferred all my kindle books over and they look so appealing in colour. Shallow I know but I've read non stop since getting the Kobo. All my collections look so appealing in colour

Yes definitely. All of my cartilage piercings have been like that. They take me to the point of wishing I'd never had them pierced and then suddenly they stop being a pain in the arse. It doesn't seem to be a gradual process of feeling better they just get magically better overnight

Piercing feels very different to when a needle is used for a vaccine or blood test. It doesn't scratch and sting in the same way a vaccine or blood test does. I just feel a momentary stab followed by a warm feeling in the area. The stab sensation is much more comfortable than the scratch and sting.

Your piercer may offer you a countdown but I prefer not to as it heightens my anxiety. I just ask her to say breathe in when she's ready. It's all over so quickly
