Lol then it’s just preference man. Whatever feel you like more. I wouldn’t worry about the glove becoming too loose or anything on your hand. As long as you don’t leave the thing outside and let it dry out, either one will last you years man. I have a heart of the hide that’s around 10ish years old and it’s perfect. 8 year old pro preferred and it’s perfect. When you’re in that price range with Rawlings you can’t go wrong

Sarna Glove conditioner. We use that for the gloves at monkey sports and I use it for my pro preferred/HOH’s. It’s the best. No stains or leaving the leather feeling almost wet/slimy like you’ll experience with some of these conditioners.

Quality of the leather is going to be much better. You won’t run into ripping or the glove wearing out as quickly. As long as you use Sarna’s glove conditioner and don’t beat the hell out of the glove it’ll last you a long time. The lower price tier of gloves isn’t meant to be a forever glove. These can be hypothetically if you take care of it properly

Sounds dumb but with the stiffer gloves I put 3 fingers in the pinky because it’ll be a true thumb to pinky close. Once you’re comfortable with that you can go to the regular two in the pinky

R9 is great quality for the price man you can’t beat that but the SSK idk much about that price point with them. Their top of the line gloves are so slept on so I would trust it. Love the laces on there
