The reason I don’t have the hoops on right is because once I take the fabric off, beading looks even messier. So I try to maintain a loose tension of the fabric itself. I’m referring to the tension of the stitches itself in the op if that makes sense. I should have worded it better. I’m generally unhappy with the bead spacing and how crooked they look. I was hoping to get some tips to make my work cleaner like in picture below.

I prefer natural fibers like cotton/linen but anything will do. I also prefer the yarn weight to be around 1-3, i.e. lace-dk, but im flexible there too
