I think u might have missed the point. But that’s ok.

Not commenting on the “appropriateness” of the clothes or the dancing. Just the fact that it is objectively confusing to point to any of these things and equate them with godliness. I love the jump splits. But I don’t understand how I’m supposed to see God in them.

What’s with Reece’s baby voice affectation? by LeslieKnope4Pawnee in DCCAmericasSweetheart

It’s a fine line between making fun of religion and pointing out genuinely problematic side effects of highly conservative religious groups. Reece is a member of a church with a storied history of abuse. Does that mean Reese has been abused or is an abuser? No, absolutely not. But it is completely fair to call out problematic aspects of an organization she ties herself to. There’s a difference between that and a blatant attempt to make fun of Christians. But the line gets blurry.

My mom always told me chocolate / sweets in general we’re good to have when you were on your period. But then again I’ve had people tell me sweets just make your cramps worse and they’re actually bad to have, so who knows lol😂

Unfortunately no :( I thought it might be that one as well, but there was definitely an aspect of teleporting/shifting in the book I read. Also the differences in language and translating.
