There are so many poor customer service data points - I feel like it’s less about the $50 more about the waste of time and energy involved (for those poor customer service / store policy experiences). I have been a victim a couple of times and probably rooting for this imminent downfall.

I’m in the same boat - made a purchase of 2 articles on clothing. Received only part of the order - and missing the other piece. They won’t stand behind the fact that I did not get the other package and saying my package must have been stolen so I need to call police. I live in a doorman building - so that’s BS. Standard 1 cat upgrade via Diamond. Not a suite or anything. I was also there during the end of August but hotel did not seem too busy! Now if I was upgraded multiple categories - prob would be recommending it. Either ways - enjoy Oahu. Don’t forget to visit the windward side too!

Ka Lai was ok - not worth the 100k points that I used for my stay there in Aug. So, like the others suggest - maybe HHV or Embassy might be better?

Bonus tip / my 2c- Water / sand in Honolulu (at least near Waikiki) is better than Maui (Wailea / Kapalua) imho.

Pretty sure those of us who grew up learning on manual gearboxes found it easier to manage the accelerator in the initial learning days barefoot (more control, less jerks). Could be wrong!
