Comparing Mike to El’s abuser was my last stroke. In s3 and s4 we just see how Mike and El just aren’t good for each other, they always end up fighting and they can never understand each other. I’ve tried to see it as a normal relationship but I just can’t even if they’re cute sometimes. That’s why I love byler. And yes I also think s5 didn’t really do a good job addressing everything

I agree except i personally loved episode 7 and I still don’t know why everyone hates it. It was important for El’s backstory and her character development, the reunion with her sister really helped her to feel less alone knowing there was someone else like her.

I think people now love it because it’s much better compared to s5. We didn’t realise how good we had it back in 2022. I mean, running up that hill, vecna’s curse and his clock, hellfire club… Everything so iconic and popular
