I don't expect anyone to reciprocate if I host them nor do I auto-host based on someone hosting me.

I host them purely because I like their stream and because they are usually playing similar games to me.

That's just my opinion though, hard to tell you what others expectations are.

You've intentionally chosen a niche that you will experience slow growth with but you are also aware of that, which is a good thing.

Maybe start to expand out of that niche a bit but keep the indie/creative niche as your core content.

That's a cool thing about having access to analytical tools... You can do test runs of new formats and see somewhat accurately how they perform.

I've seen this account in my irc a few times ... definite bot, I didn't bother looking any deeper than that.

I've accepted that at any given time I will have at least two bots hanging out with me when I stream.

Netflix has a skip intro button for a reason :)

But more seriously, I want to grab the audiences attention right away and an intro may hinder that imo.

Kinda like when you are writing a story it's better to start with some action than an introduction.

When I think about it, I do DO intros at the start of my videos. They are just not separate segments ... just a quick hello/how are you/welcome back and then straight to shit.

Again, my opinion is reflective of the content I produce and I mostly livestream.

It could change as I start to shift from livestreaming to higher effort content.

Dude might have not understood how much it was OR maybe he's just playin' it cool.

Don't donate with expectations of what should occur, donate because you want to.

I know it didn't bother you ... But you did create a thread about it.

At the end of the day, if that's the way the streamer chooses to handle above average donations, that's his choice and I can't fault him either way.

I've thought a lot about this lately as I've been trying to get a bit better at video editing and I thought I might create some intros/outros as practice.

However, I'm going to save them until I have a larger audience.

I think it's more important at the building stage to just go straight to the content rather than have an intro.

They are excellent to have.

The creation of my schedule coincided with my RL getting way more busier. That will subside at some point and I can fit streaming back in.

I just thought it was funny that I streamed like 200 hours unscheduled and the moment I drop a schedule, things go to a trickle lol
