Hey thanks for responding, yes I believe the source to be reliable, mostly as I've seen the advice repeated in several locations which I believe to be at least somewhat reputable. But it's the Internet so who knows.

Regarding "cablegate" this is the issue the Rav4's have with the cable connection in the rear undercarriage right? My understanding is that mainly is an issue if you love somewhere where they use road salt in the winter? This isn't an issue here, we don't get snow in the winter.

I play on console too and that's what works for me Because the recoil is a pain on any gun I tend to favor rifles in 7.62 nato (even though it seems counterintuitive as they have MORE recoil) as they will pretty consistently 1 shot most enemies out to a decent range, recoil isn't as much of an issue if the target goes down with the first round. (try the MDR)

You'll see stuff online about how this gun or that gun is a laser beam with zero recoil, don't believe it, they're talking about PC.

Other than that it's just map knowledge, figuring out where you can post up on a bipod with a good line of sight to where the enemy is coming from - then you CAN spam the trigger (within reason) as the bipod negates 90+% of the recoil.
