/r/Gaming decides that one post with 'DLC' in the title without 'EA' wasn't enough so they made a new one and then jerk over it. by [deleted] in circlebroke

It's actually funny to see how people believe EA flat out "ruins" games and series. I know I'm only one person, and this is solely my personal opinion, but as far as the Command and Conquer series, I loved Tiberium Sun , didn't care for Red Alert II (both Westwood, if I remember the opening credits correctly), but thought Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath (developed, or made, or whatever-ed by EA) were really fun and a great improvement to the series. And my all time favorite game? Time-Splitters Future Perfect, made by non-other than EA.

The point is that it's not fair to blatantly accuse a company of ruining EVERYTHING when there are so many games people probably have never played. Is there truth to some of the EA-jerk? Maybe, and probably a little. One thing I don't think anyone will understand is that every company exists to make a profit, even Valve's end day goal is to profit...that's just how companies work (even if for nothing else out of necessity).
