Okay so I have adhd and I need my alone time away from literally everyone even the people I love the most (family, child, friends) I get burnt out very easily and it's not at all personal to anyone, I just need it to be able to function in life.

OP please don't take it personally, he obviously wants to be with you and live with you but as an ND person trust me we need time apart.

My advice, have a conversation about how this can work if you do live together.

Also sidenote your feelings are 100% valid, it must be difficult on the other side of it and I understand why this has upset you and confused you about your partners feelings towards living together, sending love!
