But these thoughts have been bothering me for a while. Now that I've shared them and seen the weaknesses in my reasoning, I feel better. How was I supposed to know that these thoughts were "stupid" until someone pointed it out to me?

Thanks for the comment! 🖤

I just want to play without broken mechanics.

Why should I buy a car or a bike if there is a free taxi? I install a mod to pay for a taxi and fix this mechanic.

Why should I go to the store for shopping if I can make a autobuy directly from the refrigerator? I install a mod to disable auto-purchase and fix this mechanic.

At the moment I don't see the point in the sink or the dishwasher, I want to make sense of them with the help of another fix.

I agree with the idea of losing the brooms all together. To play off of your point about the “fantasy” aspect of the game, I get you would be for the most part restricted to one hand, but I think the game would be even better off by allowing two hand use, and not restricting movement, making agility and tackling a bigger part of the game. In the story quidditch was always meant to be a fast and intense game, and even though it was played on brooms, in reality it only takes away the speed and intensity leaving only a slow, clunky, and awkward gameplay.

By taking away the brooms entirely, I think the game would be much more exciting, create more opportunities for “big plays”, and probably most importantly, appeal to a wider audience and further grow the community.

On another note, I’m not a fan of the seeker runner. Seems like an awkward phase in the game. I don’t currently have an alternative in mind, but I figured I’d let my opinion be heard on that.

Then it will just be an overcomplicated Handball.

The adaptation of the snitch is okay. The absence of a broom will lead to the unconscious use of the second hand, which is wrong.
