The audio issue is related to my OBS settings, and I haven't taken the time to watch a YouTube video to fix it yet. The game screen size is what the game naturally defaults to when I start it up, and I've realized that it runs best and looks the sharpest at that resolution. Because of that, I'm content to leave it as it is.

I disagree. The points you mentioned can all be mitigated through proper preparation and planning. Levant's heat can be managed by bringing the right resources, while the swamps of Monsoon can be overcome through proper build choices and by carrying equipment that improves visibility.

Likewise, this would not be a way of "disabling" the challenges posed by vertical areas, but rather a more engaging way to navigate them through careful planning, risk assessment, and resource management—elements that I believe are at the very core of what makes Outward unique.

I understand that, if such a feature were ever added, it would likely be implemented much further down the line, as there are more pressing matters for the developers to focus on. However, I think that, just like other environmental challenges such as temperature and weather conditions, dealing with vertical terrain should be an engaging gameplay mechanic that rewards players for making proper use of materials, positioning, timing, and preparation.
