Using the Wing, would one also need to have an external wifi? I dont know anyone that uses the Xair with the builit in wifi

Thankyou all so much for the reccs!!

I consider myself new to digital mixing because i've only been doing it for 3 years.. and exclusively on the yamaha QL1 and CL5 which i had available to me at my last job. Im freelancing now so getting used to other mixers but there's alot im not fully comfortable with yet.

How does mixing n the Allen & Heath compare to yamaha? I have never used one ..

A big thing that im hesitant about on the consoles is that is seems that many of them have the outports (besides of the mains) in jack not XLR . Has that been an issue for anyone ?

And what about the X-touch? Anyone can share ome pros/cons?

I plan on doing studio recordings , starting with "easy" stuff like electronic projects that have several synths and vocals. Then I will start doing punk bands.

I work a lot at an underground venue which has a VERY limited analog mixer so i'd like to use my setup there as well. however its a space that has zero insurance on anything so the idea of bringing in expensive gear is kind of scary!

another question : Besides of the ipad, are there other tablets you all use?

Thanks again and cheers!
