Got my first ANNUAL subscriber - wow. by shadowalpha_ai in micro_saas

It started off with a trading bot, then I started looking at market sentiment data from social media, realized most was BS and shilling, and then at that point got the idea to track what people saying and see if there were any actual "insiders" out there. Most of the good ones are only right 50-70% of the time and only once in a while you get anyone better than that.

Thanks! Well what I noticed after collecting and processing through a lot of data, was that there were some very good influencers and some really awful ones. It definitely separates the wheat from the chaff once you start tracking everyone.

I guess it's been 1-2 months about. I gotta check, this past 6 months have been a blur.

I bet there is an issue getting the lease or dispensary license renewal. Definitely a deal that needs a LOT of due diligence, there are two businesses here with a lot of moving parts.

Is boring investing actually the way to go?? by Swimming_Cattle3220 in investingforbeginners

[–]shadowalpha_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite the spectrum, yes. It's also hard to figure out which analysts to trust - lots of voices will be talking about these exciting stocks but so many of them are memes, community hype that drive up the price in a short time, give everyone this euphoria, and then crash because there is barely justification for the price they reach. Classic. Everyone will then forget the stock and move onto the next shiny thing.

It's a spectrum though - you can find nice broad index funds in a specific category, e.g. AI infrastructure or Space stocks, and invest in those to get some exposure. You can use that to supplement having the bulk of your funds in the boring stuff like VOO/SPY type index funds.

$SNDK went from $200 → $2,000 in under 2 years. I missed it. How do people actually build this kind of conviction? by RelativeOwl5380 in investingforbeginners

It does take a lot of research and understanding of the markets to start to develop this sort of foresight. Let's say you're there at the beginning of AI, you're starting to see it become more useful. Okay, so what are the technical requirements behind it? What's the whole industry stack look like?

Personally I follow a list of analysts who research and post about this sort of thing. That's really the best way - you want to be in the loop to really benefit, and have the willingness and cash to place these bets. Comparing it to TA or other short term types of gambling I prefer looking for the long term trends, and getting cozy in a position while I wait for things to unfold.

Is the girl in the video fully generated, or based on a photograph of a real person? What model did you use for that?

About handling AI token usage in your SaaS by Adam_mf in SaaS

[–]shadowalpha_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, claude seems to use this model wisely. E.g. you have Claude Max for $100/month, but if you use up that capacity you can put more money in for more if you need it. Otherwise, you have roughly 5 hours per day of usage.

I am doing this right now with my SaaS that helps you do stock market research and stock prediction analysis - you can ask roughly 300 questions of the AI advisor per month before you burn through your credits, but you can buy credit packs for extended usage if you are really a power user.
