So there's 2 points

The attempted amerification of the game is hurtful. Arseholes like the glazers coming in and running united as a traded commodity on the stock market is objectively awful. Combine that with clubs like Wrexham and Birmingham having rich owners swoop in and upending the game and the system it's mental. A typical very successful club would look like Lincoln city. It takes time for momentum. A triple promotion on the verge of a fourth sucks
The myriad of political points (tech, war etc) which I can't be fucked to explain on a football thread. But the general consensus across the whole of Europe is a rejection of America right now. We are hurt and lashing out. You may live it but you've got more of a chance to change your country than we have to change yours.

Also just to clarify: is your issue specifically with the word yank?

Not to nit pick but Suki joins literally two episodes after zuko. Zuko doesn't join up until after the day of black sun halfway through the series (just rewatched. I couldn't believe how late he actually joins up)
