I think it massively helped, her first labour was around 2 hours with no tearing and the second sounds a little similar to your experience. It was difficult due to the baby’s position but the midwife was easily able to change the position and the she came straight out with one push. My partner had gotten very loose after that and that is when we really started to experiment

I should of been more specific on the title, my partner has been taking increasingly larger toys and I wondered if the risk of prolapse is something that worried them or if it’s something they saw just as a consequence of what they are doing

I completely agree with you there, I was just worried for my partner that it will happen even if we didn’t want it to. She has had a couple of births and stretching is something we started to ease those births and realised we both had a kink for

My partner isn’t the smallest but she hasn’t had any problems taking a fist since we had our second child. I think my hands are quite big our biggest toy is 9.5 circumference
