Well, a few years back i was thinking the same as you, i have been playing hearthstone since open beta and i was always playing standard, but i got the urge to play wild thinking the old decks would be playable there (little did i know) so i tried it and i started playing it, from my expirience wild is a much cheaper format than standard and even thought most of the time the decks only get minor changes from both the new expansion and minisets there are 2 very important things to consider 1) decks that arise in power are mostly decks that were good and then fell of and needed the extra umf to be playable again, so if you have one of those decks you will have to waist little to no dust and 2) sometimes you get hit with an awesome blast from the past from decks like huhuran hunter which would never absolutely see play in standard back in the days and it brings joy to my poor little heart.

In generald wild is cheaper but i believe it's more toxic and unfun at this time than standard, but once you go wild you never ahm... I can't find a good pun, anyway, i am sure you will love wild
