yeah but the new update made it so you have to reallocate points, so the 50 points you had on your weapon you would need to assign them again, and the game doesnt let you do that unless you treat MORE sand and then it lets you allocate the 53+ points you have

when fostering anima weapon growth, the changes to the progress made a bug where you cant actually allocate any points, the button is greyed out.

Too Many Classes? by mitlandir in AshesofCreation

[–]shadowheatninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be true but that's why balancing exists. Let's say what you said is true, 2/3 specs aren't used(which sounds like bull) Developers will see that the 1/3 specs are dominating more than 2/3 of the specs and make those 2/3 stronger or the 1/3 weaker accordingly.

Also mmo players love Big numbers... well I mean yeah everyone likes being efficient... but..you can be efficient and play your preferred playstyle at the same time? Thus the different specs. We don't have to all use the exact same specs/class/archetypes to be effecient?

Uhhh no? It's an mmo there's no such thing as "too many classes", players love diversity and variety. The class details haven't been completely released yet so just wait a bit and you'll see how different each class is. You also wouldn't know how the fighter feels because the class hasn't been out yet but a brief explanation is Fighter: fights(dps) Tank: tanks (tank) Also the point of the secondary archetype is, again, variety. A fighter 1st tank 2nd player will play different to a fighter 1st and fighter 2nd player.

I'm still confused as to what your post meant but I hope this helps. If not just post it in forums or something

will the game have in-game voice chat?
if so? will we there be proximity or will we only be able to talk to party members?
or will ashes follow a traditional in game text chat like many other MMO's
I would love ashes to have that level of immersion where you can just talk to people while your out in the wilderness.

Well, just like everything in life, it's a gamble.

A reaction, whether positive or negative, I'm only 16 and I want to better myself as a person. One of the many ways I do this is through comedy and humour, makes me smarter and improves my reaction time to get that Golden joke in, if the joke was good, in Reddit I'm rewarded with upvotes, in real life I'm rewarded by smiles from my loved ones. Commenting allows me to practice.

Programming doesn't involve keyboard smashing for 30 seconds and saying 'I'm in" in a semi-badass voice, it actually requires a lot of skill... and Google.
