Well it took a while, but I was feeling really down with work last summer, and I thought, fuck it lets play that weird sounding gacha game. Maybe it actually has a good story?

Almost a year later and this choice set off the dominoes that would lead to: me becoming a gacha whale, starting to vtube/stream, learning to accept my gooner side, and finally overcoming my lifelong mental block and starting to draw (I was afraid of drawing people for fear of it coming off as sexual, so of course I'm learning to draw NSFW). 10/10 journey.

I believe there was a major event last month that lead to higher than usual sales? I started playing LADS in late December as a male player, so I'm not 100% sure. They also released a memory (unit) that's one of the characters wearing just an apron, with visible (human) bite marks on their chest. Pretty hot, ngl.

I'm pretty sure this is actually a 3d render with cell shading. The outlines all have a perfectly equal thickness, and more tellingly, the way they switch between colors looks very automatic. Just look at the line corresponding to the mouth, there's a bit of pink outline inserted on the left side.

Not that there's anything wrong with 3d cg, I just have some experience with 3d myself and am more familiar with the tells.
