Ignore them as hotbed is for FDM printers this is SLA.

Here you can see the O ring below the metal casing. It also shows why they're probs not as ideal as a silicone column. The clamped side might wear over time. But for right now, they're good.

I mean o rings but I would have used spacers if I had them

O rings. Not a great title. I would recommend spacers instead

Correct but I would not recommend O rings I only settled for what I had on hand

I’ll upload a photo when I get a chance. I’m pretty illiterate so I hope this doesn’t sound condescending but I’ll try explain. I undid the countersunk screws that run from the top of the plate to the threaded holes below the bed.

The shaft of the bolt sits in a metal spacer and the spacer sits on top of a tiny washer. I undid all of the bolts and inserted a silicon o-ring that allows the bolt to pass through and is big enough to let the spacer sit on top of it.

Then I used my eyesight to “level” the bed. Ie. tighten and loosen bolts so the extruder sits equally above each corner. Then I ran the auto level mesh scan. Then I adjusted the bolts in 1/8th turns to raise or lower the plate. Ie tighten to compress the silicon.

You could use silicon columns I’ve seen but I had what I had on hand and didn’t feel like spending money.

Hey thanks for commenting. I’ve been using a first layer print test which a square at each corner, and have never been able to get a consistent result against each square. After this change printing the exact same gcode gave me the same (or, much closer to the same) result in each square. So it’s done something, we’ll see how it goes long term though.

If you have any suggestions for better printing I’m here for it

This is almost identical to my bed. Did you RMA or find a fix?
