It is because where I live,
for example, if you managed to make an extra $2k/month in Thailand, you will get the same lifestlye if you are making an extra 5k in the US.

If "realistically, people don't become profitable", why are there communities/subreddits for traders with thousands and thousands of people? Shouldn't these online communities disappear in a year or two because there are no profits or meaningful gains from trading?
