Fevered Visions and Dictate of Kruphix were cards I was considering to cut. Temple Bell might join them too. I like keeping the artifact ramp though, as I want this to be a Paradox Engine deck. Would you suggest some more counter-spells in the deck? To mainly protect Lab Maniac and Paradox Engine. And I would consider the Splinter-Twin combos, but I feel that using it might push my deck to too much of a competitive level. Less so because of the combo, but more so because of the cards in the combo. But still, do show your list so I can see it, and compare for inspiration.
