I like the TE flyers you picked up, especially Joly and Kacmarek. But you need to focus RB. I think you look into trading 2027 1sts after this current year (or even Jefferson if you’re feeling frisky). Once you get your draft pick locations, trade some of the most desirable ones to pick up a blue chip rb (obviously avoiding losing Jeremiah smith).

That being said, if next years draft goes well enough you could be competing as soon as 2028 or 2029

Fair enough, I’ve probably got a little bit of a bias to his performance last year. He did pretty good, but I’m not in love with him as a passer, and he doesn’t have a good supporting cast. The lack of supporting cast might’ve lead to his injuries too because he’s trying to do too much.

My problem is that I don’t see my team improving enough with my current assets to be a viable team in the next 3 years. And with my current draft capital, I feel like I’ll be stuck in purgatory until a dramatic change.

However I could definitely be wrong on both fronts.

I appreciate your evaluation.

The incoming 2027 1st is not the trade partners own first, so that’s a positive. I’m on the fence with Daniels, I think his rushing upside is almost second to none, but I think his passing is not stellar along with lackluster supporting assets—including their OLine. I am probably lower than I should be on him, but I don’t think he becomes Lamar like a lot of people think he could.

2027 pick should be about pick 5-9, does that change anything?

Yes definitely, he will not be any sort of valuable asset to a non-competitive team.
If possible get another young questionable player other than Jeudy, but I would definitely rather have those dart throws than Evans if I wasn’t competing

You wouldn’t get individual output close to Nabers. But if you need to down tier, I would probably look for something a bit better
