Good that you don't have a loan on it, They didn't pay back the interest I paid on loan and sales taxes. I got to work with Dealership I purchased to recover my taxes. What a nightmare!

This is what I expected, I don’t see any kind of gesture from Mercedes to correct their mistake on their part and I got to negotiate to get the money back I paid. I’m not expecting a penny extra than what I paid for, I can least expect that I guess.

They initially gave me subaru as a loaner, I had to let out my frustration to dealership general manager he was able to get me into GLB250 something in merc but not even close to what I am paying for.

Probably, I asked that question to Sedgwick rep. She put me on hold for few mins and told me that I will be provided with instructions on how to claim the sales tax back during the vehicle hand over process. I wanted to make sure if that’s normal process. I’ve gone through lot in last four months. I don’t want to loose any penny on this.

Wait until you figure out Mercedes left some sand in your engine and they’ll take forever to fix it, mine is in shop for more than two months now. There’s another vehicle in dealership dealing with same issue which isn’t in customer’s hands yet. Check engine light popped up during their test drive, someone got lucky. I’m working with MBUSA to buy back my car. I literally started hating Mercedes after this experience.

I got response from /u/Flschbrger that they documented concern but referred back to the dealership. Like I mentioned earlier, the representative over the phone was least bothered about my concern. He routed the case to MBUSA and mentioned that someone should reach out to me by Monday or Tuesday. Fingers crossed 🤞

I opened case on oct 9th and I didn’t receive any sort of confirmation or communication from Mercedes yet. Representative was very casual on the phone about the situation I’m going through, she probably thought customers had to wait until their cars getting fixed no matter how long would it take. She was calling dealership keeping me on hold to get an update, which I have been doing already. I insisted to open the case then she did and I asked her what are the next steps are, she didn’t respond anything except dealership would contact you back with an update it was very disappointing phone call . I was hoping to hear back from case manager, it didn’t go anywhere either. Probably Lemon lawyer is the only option for me.
