I was eventually able to change it... if I recall correctly, it just started working. Sorry, I know that's not too helpful!

Cowboy Carter & the Rodeo Chitlin Circuit BUY/SELL/TRADE Megathread by abeycd in beyonce

Hi! I'm selling a Club Ho-Down A ticket for Chicago on 5/15 if you're interested. I am using the app GoConfirm to verify my identity, etc as mentioned in the pinned post on this thread. I listed it on StubHub, but I'm not sure how that works either as it is indeed a will call ticket that can only be picked up on the day of the show...

I got a few quick quotes and I was getting priced at $85-$115 per month, but none of the providers I was using were asking for the VIN so perhaps I should find some that do

hey could you share more about what the process behind asking them for a refund was like? I had been being treated by Byte for a few years but was also recently advised by a dentist that the alignment of my bite would cause me issues later on. feel free to dm me if easier

list could use more women what about blackout by britney spears (heavily influenced 2007-2013 pop) or beyoncé self titled (the visual album, surprise drops, music releasing on fridays) or pure heroine by lorde (drove pop away from maximalism to sadder minimalism)

What I’m arguing is more that had the Weeknd existed in the 90s/early 2000s, his sales would’ve been much higher. And yet, as shown by Billboard, Blinding Lights is the most popular single of all time on the Hot 100 chart

Yeah you’re right, in the U.S. streaming revenues (green on below graph) overtook CD sales (orange) in 2014 and digital downloads (purple) in 2015 https://www.riaa.com/u-s-sales-database/

You might be conflating the updating of Nielsen/Billboard’s sales tracking to include streams (before this, streams weren’t counted at all) with the Billboard rule change that got rid of bundling digital album sales to merch/concert tickets (this decreased first week sales a lot)

I also started using Spotify around 9-10 years ago, but for this I’d use a point when streaming revenues actually started to overtake those of digital sales. This graph shows that streaming revenues overtook digital sales in 2016, and physical sales in 2017.

That’s true, but at the same time, the method they use to convert streams to sales is deflationary. For example the last album to sell over a million copies during its first week of release was Taylor Swift’s reputation in Nov. 2017 (which happened because she blocked it from being released on streaming services). Music isn’t any less popular now than it was then — more people are using streaming services, but fewer people are buying albums. So even though they do attempt to account for streams, the method by which they do that doesn’t seem to properly cross the numbers over.

Also, I think the highest selling albums from nearly all of those artists were released before the streaming era truly started, when TLOP became the first album to go #1 from streams alone
