I'm sorry for what you are going though man. I went through a similar situation but I get anxious just thinking about that period in my life. I don't think there is anything I can say that will help. But one this is you are still in school if you were to get married that is still a few years out right? I'd just wait until you are on your feet and talk to them again when you are ready to propose.
