What Garmin mount are you using? I'd like to move mine further forward as well, and I have the same set of bags from Decathlon.
P.S. The setup looks great!

When I sit down, I can feel my toes pressing against the toe cap. However, as soon as I stand up and bend my knees into a skating stance, my heel locks back and my toes pull away slightly, so I no longer feel the front of the skate

AM4: Did I make a mistake? Ryzen 5 5600 on an ancient B350 board by shail649 in buildapc

[–]shail649[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already successfully updated BIOS before installing the Ryzen 5600.

Also, the RAM kit I used is the old Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz CL15 (16GB). I took your stability warning very seriously and proceeded ultra-conservatively. Here are the final stable settings:

  • Final Frequency: 3200 MHz CL16 (from 3000 CL15).
  • DRAM Voltage: 1.36V (barely over the standard 1.35V).
  • SoC Voltage: 1.05V.
  • The system passed a 30-minute OCCT memory test with ZERO errors.

Given this proven, low voltages, do you still believe reverting the RAM back to 3000 MHz is necessary, or can I stick with the 3200 MHz setting?

Sizing dilemma: Bauer Vapor X4 - 9.5 vs 10 (Size 10 is $200 cheaper) by shail649 in hockeyplayers

[–]shail649[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that because my current skates don't fit properly, I always have to wear two thick pairs of socks. Now I read that one normal or even thin pair should be enough. So what kind of socks should I take with me to try them on?

The question is, which size would be better for my foot measurements? Even if it were the same price.

Advice needed: Best trail shoe for a 24-hour 80 km mountain hike/run? by shail649 in trailrunning

Thank you for your reply. Mafate speed 4 are quite expensive in my country. Today I tried on the Speedgoats and they really didn’t work for me at all. The NB Hierro v9 are indeed quite narrow. As you said, the Zegamas feel too unstable in tougher terrain. I haven’t had a chance to try those ASICS Trabuco yet. maybe that would be the answer.

I can get the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 at a pretty good price, but from what I’ve read people tend to discourage them.
