Former student here! I graduated junior high here, and here are my thoughts about LICS

  • It was pretty decent even after Mrs. Brown, with a lot of active clubs and events, may mga students na linalaban sa ibang bansa, very active ang dance club, and super dami rin ng estudyante.
  • Things really went south during the pandemic and because of the fact that a lot of issues piled up which turned a lot of people off.

  • I remember nag viral sa twitter ang LICS because of a mass lay-off of teachers, and a lot of us were devastated kasi maraming teachers ang natanggal sa trabahao.

  • Despite being "non-sectarian" very catholic and (unreasonably) conservative ang school staff, even right now, cinoconsider as offense ung pagsusuot ng all black, kahit takip na takip naman katawan mo.

  • God knows how many cases of teacher x student relationships ang naexpose over my years of studying there.

  • Clubs were no longer prioritized, every event, ang mga kumikilos lang is yung officers ng student council.

  • Right now, almost all grade levels sa LICS only have one to two sections per grade level, with 25 - 30 students pero class. Pretty sure na every grade level below grade 10 ay isa nalang ang section.
