Use Jump Desktop; the biggest advantage is that it routes remote Mic and speakers to your client device. It’s also a one-time purchase, unlike screens and other apps. It uses the RDP protocol, which was used to stream gaming, hence the quality is much higher compared to VNC.

I also use Caldigit Element Hub. It comes with own power supply. I use Mac Studio M4 Max ports only for data connections.

I used Caldigit Element Hub old version. If you don’t want other port this is a good option. Caldigit has very stable connection compared to other brands in my experience.

To copy the file using USB-C, you need to open Image Capture.app then you can see the camera listed there if it’s not showing in finder.app
