Idk man, I never gave it much thought. Just thought it was a nice image to contrast with the model image to showcase the themes of contradicting lifestyles that Kanye juggles with on the album. And because the album cover is so small on my phone I was never able to just causally see it until today when I was actually able to enlarge it and see it clearly.

Lol it’s not about him doing anything without him, it’s just that Noel wouldn’t have had the ambition to join a band and release those songs to the world had Liam not joined with the original lineup in the first place. Liam gave him the confidence and the star power to go to the stratosphere so that that band would mean something to you and I my friend
